Scholarships
BCTTNS Scholarship Applications Guidelines
1: Must be a member for a minimum of 1 year.
2: Scholarships can be awarded for attendance in TT conferences,
retreats & workshops (does not apply to BCTTNS Levels 1, 2, or 3
classes).
3: The scholarship recipient is required to submit a report to the board about his/her experience at the course. This report may be printed, in whole or in part in the Shifts in Energy Newsletter.
4: The application for scholarship must be in writing
(email is okay) and presented to the board at least 60 days prior to
the workshop or conference. The application will demonstrate how the
course will benefit your TT practise and BCTTNS.
5: The board will award scholarships at it's discretion.
6: Scholarships will be awarded a maximum of one time per five year period, per applicant.
7: The recipients & applicants will be advised of their status and scholarship awards will be announced in the newsletter.
8: Considerations: Financial need, relativity to TT practise,
benefits to BCTTNS and travel.
9: A decision is made to award five, $100.00 scholarships in the coming year. This can be reviewed annually depending on budget considerations.
10: An additional $1000.00 is budgeted for (1 -2) Board
members to attend the TTNO and /or Canadian Network conference. This
member will represent BCTTNS and report back on the activities at the
conference. This member will attend any Canadian Network meetings at
the conference.
The recipient must submit a written
report to the Board to demonstrate how the course or workshop will benefit
his/her TT practise and that of BCTTNS.
