Available BCTTS Board Positions

 

These are exciting days for the BCTTNS. We are accomplishing many things and have many plans. The Board is fired up about the possibilities ahead. After a good deal of planning and goal setting work this year we decided to work on the top 3 priorities the members asked us to do in the survey we did this fiscal year. We’re focusing on being a member- learning and member-focused organization with a Board of Directors that takes direction from the members rather than working in isolation making closed decisions. Everyone’s input is asked for on the Board and each member is critical to our success and progress as an organization.

Each position comes with its own job description (that needs updating to be honest). Though this is your priority function on the board we all get the opportunity to be part of multiple projects as they come up. You get to help shape the future of the organization and be a part of deciding new directions and projects to focus on.

If you feel you want to be a part of this dynamic team then please submit your name for election at the Spring AGM by March 1 st so that we will have a list of nominees prepared in advance of the AGM. Then we can mail out to all the members a list of all the names of members standing for consideration to be elected to the Board of Directors along with some Bio information to help inform the membership of the background of the nominees. We need your ideas and enthusiasm. Please consider putting your name forward.

Please submit your name to Gail McGrath at gmcgrath@uniserve.com with the position you would like to be elected to and a brief biography of what your experience and skills are. This will be made available to the membership ahead of the AGM.
